Lowell created the ‘Mothers Love’ sand artwork in honour of his mother and the important role she has played in nurturing and caring for him. The artwork also represents the connectedness and loving relationship built through breastfeeding. Sharing a bond like no-other, looking into each other’s eyes knowing that you are there, together, in that moment that you will cherish forever.

This sand artwork was created on Wadawurrung Country at Point Roadknight, VIC.

Eath Jinda artwork Description:

This artwork tells the story of the instinctual, ancestral, spiritual and physically connection between mother and child. The mother nourished buwaarr in the womb and nourishes buwaarr at the breast. The Ancestors walk this journey into motherhood with her, guided always. From our sacred waterways this bond and connection is strengthened. Salt water woman nourishing buwaarr (baby) & waajarr (country).

Earth Jinda Bio:

Jame is a proud Gumbaynggirr nyami living on country along the Mid North Coast of NSW. She is a descendant of Harry and Pearl Kelly from Yellow Rock, Urunga.

Jame is a proud Miimi (mother) to four beautiful children with a love for painting from her connections and experiences as a mother, daughter and granddaughter. Deeply connected and inspired by the Matriarchs of her bloodline, she is often found painting in and from this space. Jame is passionate about exploring the connections to community, country and culture through her artwork, working from the womb and unwinding her connection from there. Jame creates through the knowledge shared with her from family, by exploring paint through visualization of feelings and dreams. Expression through art movement, texture and colour. Her representation to the spirit, aura, country and internal connections to her Ancestors.

All artwork is printed locally at a Fine Art Printing Studio in Geelong, Victoria. The artwork is printed using world-class materials on the finest substrates.

Salty One artwork is available on your choice of substrate: Cotton Rag or Canvas.

Fine Art Cotton Rag: Cotton rag is an archival quality printing medium. It is a type of paper that is made from cotton fibres rather than wood pulp and, as a result, is superior in both strength and durability. Our cotton rag prints also use archival quality ink, meaning that your finished artwork will have vivid colour and depth, never fading and lasting a lifetime! As it is a paper, cotton rag prints must be framed behind glass.

Canvas: Canvas is a sturdy material that can be framed with or without glass. The canvas we use for our artwork is a high quality cotton/polyester blend canvas with a smooth woven pattern. The archival life of our canvas prints is 120-150 years! Our canvas prints are available framed or unframed. If you selected a framed artwork, it will be expertly stretched and then framed without glass and is able to be shipped Australia wide.

Whilst there is a series of set sizes for Salty One artworks, most can adapted and printed in custom size requests to suit your space. Custom Canvases are available unframed or framed. Please enquire here for custom size requests.

What about framing?

All canvas products are available framed or unframed as they may be framed without glass & shipped safely.

Cotton Rage must be framed behind glass to ensure longevity, however we only provide cotton rag prints unframed. If you purchase a smaller print you may find a ready-made frame that will suit and choose to frame the print yourself. Please note, it is important to handle cotton rags prints as little as possible so do not remove it from its shipping packaging until it is ready to be framed, and only touch the print on the outer edges to prevent damage. If you have chosen a larger work, a professional framer is your best option and again, please remember to deliver it to your framer without removing it from its packaging to prevent damage.
